From gambler to investor
PasBet was born from a simple frustration: losing money without understanding why.
Like many, I started betting just like that — on a hunch, on an obvious favorite, on a match I "had a good feeling about." And like many, I lost. Not crazy amounts: €10 here, €20 there. But enough to sting.
What made me angry wasn't the loss. It was realizing that I never had a chance of winning in the first place. Not because I had predicted the outcome wrong, but because the very structure of the bet was designed to make me lose over the long run. The bookmaker's margin is mathematically relentless.
I could have quit. I chose to understand instead.
I spent hours reading about expected value, the Pinnacle markets, the Buchdahl model. Realizing that some bettors win, not through luck, but because they think in probabilities where everyone else thinks in teams.
PasBet was born from that obsession: turning the bookmakers' own tools against them.
No tips here. No picks. No "bet on this match tonight."
Only rigorous concepts, calculation tools, and a method. The rest is your job.
The site's principles
Mathematical rigor
Every tool is built on methods proven by professional bettors. No gut feeling, only probabilities.
Total independence
There is only one goal: giving you the tools to gain an edge on the market.
Psychology first
Understanding variance and managing your emotions is as important as calculating EV. Both are covered here.

The tools are free, the concepts are accessible. All that's missing is the method.
